Yes, Amazon’s Prime Day 2022 is a haven for online shopping fanatics, with big discounts on thousands of items — and most of them more exciting than paper towels and toilet paper.

That’s why we’re passing up the smart TVs on sale and going right to the household items. Here are some steals you can find throughout the Prime Day sale:

Toilet paper and paper towels: Amazon has an entire section dedicated to “everyday essentials,” where you can stock up on things toilet paper and paper towels, as well as medicine and trash bags.

Baby diapers and wipes: The price of diapers isn’t going down any time soon, so when you see a sale, you have to take advantage. You can score a bundle with a two-month diaper supply and wipes for about 20% off.

Robot vacuums: OK, so this might be a bit of a luxury, but if you’re tired of cleaning, there are some massive discounts on older models of the Shark robot vacuum series, as well as the iRobot Roomba.

Mops and buckets: Whatever your budget, Amazon has several options from the simple to the high tech. It also has discounts on top brands that can be pricey other times of the year, like Rubbermaid, Bona and O-Cedar.

Air purifiers: Allergies seem to be getting worse every year, and an air purifier is a great way to combat them — and save you from endless days of runny or stuffy noses. Amazon’s inventory has prices as low as $42, and even if you want one for a bigger room, there are notable discounts.

Air conditioners, fans, heaters, humidifiers and dehumidifiers: Getting two for the price of one is always a better deal. Amazon’s heating and cooling appliances include several twofers, like this Dreo humidifying and oscillating fan, this GE portable dehumidifying air conditioner, this Frigidaire window air conditioner and heater and this Levoit humidifier and essential oil diffuser.

Irons and ironing boards: We’re going out more often now, so you won’t be able to avoid ironing your wrinkly shirts for much longer. Irons and ironing boards have deep markdowns, and there’s this 3-section laundry sorter with a foldable ironing board as another useful combo item.

Trash cans and bags: For something that holds trash, bins can get pretty pricey. Amazon has a few options on sale for your kitchen and bathroom that are stylish and space-saving, like this bathroom trash can with a toilet brush holder.

Amazon Prime Day is a two-day extravaganza of sales and specials sponsored by the online giant, and it ends July 13.
